How personalisation works

Personalisation is completed off-site by specialist partners and processed in scheduled batches to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish across all products.

• Personalised orders are processed twice a week

• Orders confirmed by Monday at 12:00 are included in the Tuesday processing run

• Orders confirmed by Wednesday at 12:00 are included in the Thursday processing run

Once personalisation is complete, each item is carefully quality-checked before being dispatched.

Turnaround time

Please allow up to 7 working days from order confirmation to dispatch.

This timeframe includes personalisation, quality control, and dispatch under normal operating conditions, while delivery may take an additional few days after that, depending on your location.

During peak gifting periods, processing frequency may increase, which can occasionally shorten turnaround times.

What to expect from personalised finishes

LAMY products are made using different materials, finishes, and production techniques. Because of this, personalised results may vary slightly from product to product.

• Each item responds uniquely to engraving or embossing

• No two personalised items will look exactly the same

• Minor variations are a natural part of the personalisation process

Notes on engraved pens

Certain pens, such as the LAMY safari, engrave differently depending on colour and finish:

• Some colours produce a higher contrast engraving

• Darker colours, including black, result in a more subtle, tone-on-tone finish

Please note that engraving is not available on transparent materials, such as the LAMY safari vista.

Notes on personalised notebooks

Personalised notebooks may be engraved or embossed depending on the cover material and finish. Placement and appearance may vary slightly between styles, and subtle variations are part of the finished product’s character.
